Who We Are

The Company is a Community Theater group, made up of people who love watching, writing, performing, and producing theater. Our members come from all over the Greater Cincinnati area, and we create every type of performance in venues throughout the city. At The Company, we create theater we love, with the people we like.

Our Goal

The Company was founded to celebrate the community — or company — that forms during the creation of live theater. Our goal is to provide the opportunity for every member of our organization to shine, and showcase their talents to our audience.

Our History

In late 2013, The Company was founded by Colin Cronin, Brandon Dunphy, and Nate Pucke. The guys met each other performing and producing theater at Community Theaters throughout the region, and had been in dozens of shows together over the years. However, they were looking for an outlet to create the types of productions they had always wanted — not just big musicals and famous dramas, but things like Dramatic Readings, Sketch Comedy, Improv, One-Acts, the list goes on. And thus the Company was born.

Since it’s inception, The Company has continued to expand its scope. Starting with performances of Original Sketch Comedy, they are now venturing into staged readings, full-length plays, and original works, with more on the way. If something is fun, and provides a creative outlet for its members, The Company is sure to get involved.

We're all about keeping good company, and that could mean you! Our auditions are open to everyone, and our Sketch Comedy group is always looking for new writers and actors. Whether you want to be on stage or help out behind the scenes, we have a place for you.

We've got talented writers, masters of randomness, tech geniuses, and actors who are too obnoxiously good at everything for their own good (one in particular). If you've attended our Sketch Comedy shows you may recognize some of these familiar faces.
